Introduction
The Family Members List and the Family Tree are designed for you to explore, and to give you a detailed view of the Odaffer Family. Please e-mail any additions or changes to help keep them current.
The list of Family Members and the Family Tree will enable you to see that you are a descendant of Heinrich Odoerfer (Germany, 1560), and also help you see specifically where you fit in this extraordinary family.
If you want to go into more detail, the descriptions 1-16 below serve to help you identify into what generations and branches of the family you or your ancestor fit. Here is how to do it.
- Search your name in the list of Family Members, and see where you (or your ancestor) are located in the Family Tree.
- Find the person or persons listed in italics in one of the items 1-16 below that are nearest your location in the tree. That will identify you or your ancestor’s generation and branch of the family.

2. The First U.S. Generation- Children of Johann Wolfgang (John) (View the portion of the tree starting with Johann Wolfgang Odoerfer, and ending with Margaret Odoerfer. This portion shows the spouses and children of Johann Wolfgang (John) Odoerfer, our ancestor who links our family to Germany)
